Types of Loft Conversion
A Dormer Loft conversion is often the desirable conversion as it maximises the full potential of the loft space. But Velux Rooflights could be a better alternative. Indeed, often a combination of these two styles is the most desirable to maximise the full potential of the loft space. But don't take our word for it - previously completed lofts are always available for you to view and decide for yourself!

This option is where the existing loft space is of insufficient size for the proposed conversion, it creates additional headroom for the staircase and new room or rooms contemplated. If an additional bathroom is proposed along with the rooms the increased height created by the Dormer provides additional height above the fittings. For examples see Finished Lofts. |
This option is generally adequate for those contemplating the smaller loft conversion, generally for a single bedroom; study etc, where adequate height is available within the existing loft space. Rooflights can then be installed with a minimum of disruption. For examples see Finished Lofts. |
This option is very popular and can easily double the size of the room creating more standing space and space for the staircase to be fitted and is the best choice for creating the most space. For examples see Finished Lofts. |
This option gives extra space and head height and still leaves a section of roof at the front. For examples see Finished Lofts. |
"A very good service and very reliable. Graham did an excellent job for us and would listen to how we wanted the job to be done which is quite rare nowadays."
