Checkatrade is a body which exists to separate rogue trades from the honest and reliable. We stand for accountability and credibility.

Rogues will not want to be vetted and will certainly not be willing to be monitored and have the results made public. This is the core of what will separate the honest from the dishonest.

All members undergo our vetting procedure and will have to agree to a code of conduct and ethics. All will have to agree to give monitoring cards out to their customers to fill in when the work has been completed.

This really is putting reputations to the test. The results of the monitoring cards and any recommendations we receive via any other source will be displayed on this public forum.

The Trade Registers' Monitoring Cards are designed for customers to fill in and return to us free of charge once the trade or service has completed any work. The scores and comments from these cards are shown on this web site and are also available via our check outline
